How to create domain alias in cPanel?

Domain aliases can make your website available from other domains, in other words few different domains could show the same content from the main website.

In order to create a domain alias in cPanel, follow the guideline:

First, you need to connect to your cPanel dashboard, which you can do by following steps:

  1. Log in to your account in our Clients Area: https://billing.hostens.com/clientarea
  2. Choose your Web Hosting(cPanel) service;
  3. Press the button “Access Control Panel” on the left menu and then the button “Click here to access control panel“.

Choose “Aliases” in the “Domains” section and add the alias using the following menu:

There is one line “Domain“, you should enter your additional domain here and press the button “Add Domain“. Once this is done, you will be able to see the list of added aliases below (like in the image). In order to redirect the alias, press “Manage Redirection“.

You simply enter any URL, that you want your alias to redirect to and press “Save“.

Note. In order to remove redirection, you could simply press the “Disable Redirection” button in the last menu. However, it can also be done via the main Alias menu (2nd picture), by pressing the “Remove” button.
